When you study at Shrewsbury Town in the Community, you will also be given the opportunity to work with our wider team and staff members to enhance your learning by gaining experience in a number of different roles. Whether it’s helping to plan, organise and run projects, delivering on our Soccer Schools, or helping out at Extra-Time, there are a variety of ways you can supplement your learning by gaining valuable delivery hours.

In addition to this there are a number of different course and additional qualifications you can gain during your time with us, including;

NCS – National Citizen Service As a student on any of our courses you will also have the opportunity to take part in our NCS programmes as both a participant or even a staff member! NCS provides young people with the opportunity to take part in a range of different activities including residential stays, team-building skills, and social action projects. As a paid staff member on one of our programmes you will complete safeguarding, health & safety, youth work and incident management training helping to build your skillset. You will also have numerous chances for volunteering and further paid work within the wider EFL Trust chain of NCS programmes.
