We’re excited to recruit an Employability Manager to manage the strategic direction of the Youth Hub team funded by the Department for Work & Pensions (DWP) and Local Authority for the UKSPF project!
The purpose of the Employability Manager is to manage a team of Youth Employability Coaches providing young people across Shropshire opportunities into employment, education or training in line with our Education & Employability strategy.
The successful candidate will need to be target driven, enthusiastic and be able to work under pressure to achieve KPI’s and manage stakeholder relationships.
Role Overview:

🕒 37.5 hours per week – Core hours Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 17:00

💼 Fixed contract until 28th February 2026 (With the view to extend)

In this role the successful candidate will oversee the foundation’s Youth Hub, which covers Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, and help young people between the ages of 16 and 24 to find their route to employment. As part of this you will develop resources and sessions for attendees to progress, gain new skills and complete the programme feeling more confident and better prepared for work.
