Boys' Football Centres

Shrewsbury Town Foundation's Boys' Football Centres offer young players the opportunity to develop in a professional and supportive environment through high-quality sessions.

The Boys' Football Centres are part of our football pathway and provide an opportunity for players in the Under 8 to Under 12 age categories who are ready to further their development.

The programme is designed to complement players' existing football commitments while supporting progression within our football pathway.

Our qualified coaches deliver engaging sessions that challenge and support players to develop their technical, tactical, physical and social skills, helping them grow both on and off the pitch.

Our Boys' Football Centres consists of both our Player Development Centre (PDC) and Advanced Player Development Centre (APDC), each designed to support players at different stages of their development:

• Player Development Centre: weekly training sessions

• Advanced Player Development Centre: weekly training sessions combined with regular fixtures (during the school holidays)

The programme also offers a progression pathway into our games programme (U12 to U16) which competes in the Midland Junior Premier League.
