Girls' Football Centres

Shrewsbury Town Foundation's Girls' Football Centres offer young players the opportunity to develop in a professional and supportive environment.

The Girls' Football Centres are part of our football pathway and provide an opportunity for players in the U8 to U16 age categories who are ready to further their development.

The programme is designed to complement players' existing football commitments while supporting progression within our football pathway.

Our qualified coaches deliver engaging sessions that challenge and support players to develop their technical, tactical, physical and social skills, helping them grow both on and off the pitch.

Our Girls' Football Centres consist of three centres, each designed to support players at different stages of their development:

• Player Development Centre: weekly training sessions

• Advanced Development Centre: weekly training sessions combined with regular fixtures (during the school holidays)

• Emerging Talent Centre: weekly training sessions combined with regular fixtures (during the school holidays) and funded by the Football Association
