Shrewsbury Town Foundation are incredibly proud to announce that Girls Development Centre player Imogen has been chosen as the winner of Shrewsbury Town FC’s away kit design competition!

Launched last year, the club invited fans aged 14 and under to take part in a special competition to design a brand-new Shrewsbury Town kit. The winning design would then be brought to life as the club’s official away kit for the 2025/26 season.

We’re thrilled to share that the winner is none other than Imogen, a talented young player who has been part of our Girls Development Centre for the past three years. Imogen’s passion for the club has shone through over the years — she even had the honour of being a club mascot in 2022 — and now her creativity will be showcased on pitches up and down the country.

To celebrate her incredible achievement, Shrewsbury Town first-team players John Marquis and George Lloyd made a surprise visit to her training session at the Girls Development Centre. The heartwarming moment was captured on video and can be viewed on the club’s official Facebook page: Watch the video

Jonny Hughes, Female Pathway Lead at Shrewsbury Town Foundation, said:
“We’re absolutely delighted for Imogen. She’s a brilliant example of what our Girls Development Centre is all about — talent, creativity and a real love for the game. To see one of our own achieve something so special and have her design worn by the first team is an incredibly proud moment for everyone involved.”

We’re so proud of Imogen and can’t wait to see her design worn during this season’s away fixtures. A huge well done from everyone at the Foundation!
