There there’s something for everyone in our hubs and social groups! 

From light exercise to quizzes and social activities, our hubs and social groups are a great way to stay connected and keep active.

Attendees can utilise our outdoor gym, play in regular walking football sessions, or if you’d rather a more relaxed approach we offer brain boosting activities for you to work collaboratively on. Of course, we’ll also always provide refreshments and someone to talk to!

Walk & Talk

Mondays, 10:00 to 11:00am

Join others in an organised leisurely walk where you can enjoy light conversation while walking. This sessions is all about movement and connection.

Foster Carers Hub

Tuesdays, 10:00am – 12:00pm

Our Foster Carers Hub allows fosters carers to connect, share their experiences and build friendships, with the option to engage in light exercise and mindfulness sessions. The hub promotes wellbeing and creativity through various activities, including light gym work.

Walking Football

Tuesdays, 10:00am – 12:00pm, and Thursdays, 10:00am – 12:00pm

Love football but want a slower pace? Walking Football is the perfect way to stay active, enjoy the game and have fun without running or heavy contact.

Military Hub

Tuesdays, 12:30 – 2:00pm

We’re excited to have our veterans join us at the Wednesday Extra Time Hub! As we welcome more Veterans to participate, we’ll be able to set up a special Hub just for veterans. Please help us grow this group and feel part of this friendly community.

Welcome to the Parkinson’s Exercise and Activity Hub! We’re here to help you manage your symptoms through specific and engaging physical activities led by our friendly, trained professionals. Plus, we offer a warm and supportive community for both participants and caregivers living with Parkinson’s disease. Join us for some fun, exercise, and connection!

Extra Time is a lively social hub dedicated to inspiring healthier lifestyles for those over 50, while also being dementia friendly. Our mission is to help you boost your physical and mental well-being and we love bringing people together.
