Shrewsbury Town Foundation’s Holiday Club took place over the recent Easter break.
A total of 212 children joined us over the two weeks for HAF and Soccer Schools at the Croud Meadow and Ludlow Football Stadium.
Plenty of football was played and activities were held – such as stadium tours and Easter egg hunting.
Academy scholars JJ Male, Will Hardeman, Ruben Olatunji, Luke Edwards and Leon Hughes also participated in a fun and exciting session.
There was a 55% increase in participants from last year’s Easter Holiday Club.
The Foundation’s Primary Education Manager, Simon Tisdale, said: “What a fantastic Easter we had at Shrewsbury Town Foundation!
“We strive to create special moments on and off the pitch, always using our values based learning approach to enable a positive learning environment.
“From ball rolling time to player interactions, Easter egg hunts and, of course, the moment the children received their medals and player cards, our ethos is to engage, develop and inspire our local community.”
The feedback was overwhelmingly positive with parents willing to recommend the club to fellow parents.
One of the parents commented: “Jakub had an absolutely fantastic time and said, ‘I would love to go again in the summer.’ Thank you.”
