Jamie was a professional footballer for Bristol City Football Club, and played semi-professionally in Australia. He has been a UEFA B License coach since 2007 and founded and managed a sports coaching company from 2005 – 2007.
Before joining Shrewsbury Town FC Foundation, he was Community Manager at Hereford United FC Between 2007 - 2014.

Calvin joined the Foundation team back in 2018 as an NCS Coordinator, and has worked on over sixteen NCS programmes as well as taking part in NCS as a young person in 2012; he further went on to work in many charities working in employability and youth development, as well as completing his degree. Now the Education & Learning Project Manager, Calvin manages the National Citizen Service project, Premier League Kicks and our Alternative Provision. Calvin is also working along side his Partner School Officers to expand our base of partner schools and develop the Shrewsbury Town School concept.

Through working across social enterprises for nearly a decade, Milly has gained valuable experience which has led to her current role. Her previous employers have ranged from charities supporting those with learning disabilities to creating a fresh start for people within the criminal justice system.
Her outgoing and energetic spirit has landed her in the role of Fundraising & Partnerships Manager, and helped introduce new partners to the incredible work that the Shrewsbury Town FC Foundation provides.
Creating new relationships with local Shropshire businesses
Adam joined Shrewsbury Town FC Foundation in September 2018 after working for Virtual Learning UK as an assistant curriculum leader and has experienced working within various different community projects for Hereford United in the Community and Herefordshire Football Association.
Adam graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a BSc Hons in Science and Football and Cardiff University with a PGCE in Sport. Adam also holds a FA Level 3 Goalkeeping and Outfield Coaching Qualification.
Adam works within South Shropshire delivering on the Premier League Primary Stars and Advanced Development Centre as a lead coach for the U12 and goalkeeping coach.

Simon has 12 years experience within Primary Education, delivering PE curriculum as well as other core subjects.
His current duties as Premier League Primary Stars Coordinator includes delivering quality assurance and PE CPD to teachers, as well as a range of impactful programmes within primary schools using the Premier League and Foundation values to engage and inspire pupils.
His qualifications include: Level 5 PE specialism, Higher level TA status, FA level 2 football and currently on course to complete level 5 business management.

Jonny joined Shrewsbury Town FC Foundation in September 2019 after running his own sports coaching company in Shropshire for 7 years. Jonny is UEFA B qualified and has worked with academies at Shrewsbury Town and Stoke City Football Club. Jonny oversees projects that fall into the Primary age category such as school provision and holiday activities.

Anna joined Shrewsbury Town FC Foundation in the Summer of 2018 as an NCS Wave Lead during her second year at the University of Sheffield. Anna has since progressed to the role of NCS Coordinator and has seen the delivery of over 15 programmes in Shrewsbury and Cheshire as a young person and staff member. Anna takes her passion of youth development outside of the world of work by being an adult staff member at her local Air Cadet squadron.

After graduating from the University of Wales Institute Cardiff, Sophie was a cover teacher in the PE department of her old primary school, Bishops of Hereford Bluecoat School.
She then became an outdoor instructor, doing her training down in Cornwall. Having gained those qualifications she travelled to Greece and Tenerife, where she was a beach lifeguard and ran the water sports at the kids clubs.
She has started a family and done part time work for a while, and has now joined the Shrewsbury Town FC Foundation.

After spending 3 years as a fitness instructor for various leisure centers around Shrewsbury, Issie decided in 2018 to study a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Exercise Science at University Centre Shrewsbury (UCS). During her time at UCS, Issie chose to specialize her degree and focus on Exercise for Cancer Rehabilitation, working with patients before, during and after treatment to improve their physical and mental wellbeing. During her third year, Issie chose to focus her dissertation on Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR), looking at metabolism rate and various modern technologies for determining BMR.
In 2022, Issie graduated UCS with a First Class degree with honours and came to work for the Shrewsbury Town FC Foundation as a Health and Wellbeing Coach. Issie currently trains and coaches our Exercise Referral and Cancer Rehabilitation clients, as well as instructing our HIIT, Circuits, Zumba Fitness and various other classes. As well as working within our Health and Wellbeing team, Issie continues to work on her education and personal development within the health and exercise sector, focusing on special populations, nutrition, mobility and many other topics.
Seeing the results that our clients achieve whilst being with us and being able to constantly encourage and promote an active lifestyle to the residents of Shrewsbury.
Nicky grew up studying ballet and dance but in her 20’s, swapped this for weight lifting, HIIT and Yoga. She had a short army career and used this to continually push herself physically, always setting herself goals and high standards.
Over the past 20 years, Nicky has gained qualifications and experience in all aspects of fitness, including weight training, functional and HIIT training, Yoga, exercise referral and life coaching.
Nicky has designed progressive health and fitness programmes that helped clients achieve strength, improve cardio health, mobility, weight loss and weight gain. She has helped clients gain a positive relationship with food and worked with them to improve body self-image and confidence.
A long side helping clients individually, Nicky has trained large groups and instructed classes. She has worked in a primary school for 10 years as a learning mentor, teaching yoga to every child as one of their P.E. lessons, created daily movement groups to support children with poor proprioceptive abilities, advised families on healthy eating and lifestyle choices.
Supporting and educating participants to make positive long-term changes to health, mindset and lifestyle. I truly believe exercise and healthy eating is the best medicine that can help us heal, strengthen and overcome.
Helen joined the Shrewsbury Town FC Foundation Team in October 2020 as part of our NCS Programme. Helen has previously worked as an outdoor activity instructor, so has a wide range of experience working with young people. Through her role as an NCS Coordinator, Helen’s main roles included running PHSE sessions and building relationships in schools across Shropshire, as well as supporting in the NCS programme management.
As a Mental Health Coach, Helen supports children to realise their potential by helping them grow and develop in fun and exciting way, through experiences that that give them opportunities to enhance life skills and personal growth.
The best part of the job is being apart of something that is impactful and inspiring. Having the opportunity be apart of making a difference for mental health in such a fun and positive way is the best feeling as it affects so many, making prevention massively important.
Zoe has always been an advocate for mental health and has worked in mental health for a few years. She is qualified in mental health first aid, trauma informed and counselling. Being a practitioner working on the front line Zoe has had first hand experience of the impact poor mental health can have within families, young people and children. She is passionate about working with children and young people in a positive way to help them strive to do better, and to enjoy a happy future.
Zoe has joined the team as a mental health coach, working on projects to help the community have better mental health in a positive impacting way. She is very excited about this project as I feel it will be beneficial for the community.

Graduated Manchester metropolitan university with an honours degree in Coaching and Sport development. Working on Manchester Schools Team and coaching and Crewe Alexandra Ladies before joining Shrewsbury Town FC Foundation in 2019.

Reuben Dunne started with us on NCS in 2017 and at the Gala Dinner that year he received an award for Participant of the Year and NCS graduate of the year.
Reuben is now working hard as a permanent volunteer at Shrewsbury Town FC Foundation!
