Rain didn’t stop play for our ShrewsAbility Run, where participants helped to raise £947.20 for our Disability Provision!
Prior to Shrewsbury Town’s fixture against Blackpool on Saturday 2nd March, our ShrewsAbility participants braved the weather and came down to The Croud Meadow to take part in our annual ShrewsAbility Run. The event helps us to spread awareness and raise funds for our Disability Provision that allows us to provide sessions that cater to a range of abilities.
Despite poor weather, we still saw an incredible turnout with participants wrapping up warm and completing a 600m circuit around the main pitch. Those who took part were cheered on by family, friends, and staff and were given a hero’s welcome as they reached the finish line.
