Shropshire FA have announced that the Croud Meadow will host seven County Cup finals in May.

The fixtures will take place between Friday, May 8 and Sunday, May 10.

Alongside the finals, Shrewsbury Town Foundation, in association Shropshire FA, will host a Festival Weekend.

McDonald’s will support the event and provide inflatables, pitch demos, face painting and giveaways for the numerous activities that will take place.

The weekend will demonstrate a collaborative approach to local football between Shropshire FA, Shrewsbury Town FC, Shrewsbury Town Foundation and McDonald’s.

Nine other games will be played at AFC Telford United’s SEAH Stadium.

Andy Weston, CEO of Shropshire FA, said: “We’re delighted to be hosting this season’s County Cup Finals at both Shrewsbury Town FC and AFC Telford United.

“These venues provide outstanding facilities and a fitting stage for what are always the highlight fixtures of our football calendar.

“Bringing our finals to two leading clubs within the county reflects both the scale of the competition and our commitment to delivering a high-quality experience for players, officials and supporters alike.

“We’re extremely grateful to both clubs for their support and look forward to a fantastic showcase of local football.”
