TeamTalk

Our “TeamTalk” programme educates young people about the importance of self care and equips them with tools to support their mental health.

Delivered in schools, these sessions help pupils to find their inner confidence, build strong relationships, and help them to lay the foundations for their future.

About the sessions

Designed for young people between the ages of 9 and 17, we cover key areas in these sessions including:

  • Confidence building
  • Teamwork
  • Stress management
  • Anti-bullying
  • Emotional education
  • Social skills
  • Conflict resolution
  • Organisational skills

Our four key objectives for these sessions will be:

  • Promote positive mental health and awareness
  • Prevent low mental health
  • Prepare young people with knowledge, tools and techniques
  • Positivity making people feel more positive and empowered

TeamTalk is a flexible, six week programme with each session covering useful methods to support youth mental health. The six week programme consists of:

1.      Introduction and Wellbeing Diaries

2.      Confidence building and facing fears

3.      Dealing with stress and anxiety

4.      Yoga and Mediation

5.      Emotions  and healthy relationships.

6.      Nature and Arts therapy

In addition to this, pupils will receive their own Wellbeing Diary to encourage self reflection outside of sessions.
