The Shrewsbury Town Business Club brings people and businesses from across Shropshire together to support each other.

3J Services Ltd are a company based in Shropshire that provide new and used shipping containers – they are also a part of the Business Club.

Gordon Tarburton spoke about how his company got involved with the football club and the Foundation.

He said: “We were approached to provide a container for the FanZone. We met the deadline and we ended up providing a couple of other containers.

“From there on, we got involved with sponsorship of a player, match sponsorship and match ball sponsorship.

“We get involved with the Business Club and any other things that come forward. They contact us to see if we’re interested in helping and putting our name to things.

“It’s good to be part of a club that’s going somewhere and doing really well.

“We want to continue supporting them and being part of the community, helping in any way we can as a company.

Alongside their work with the club, 3J Services Ltd have also provided support and help to the Foundation.

They believe that Foundation provide vital help and support to people, both young and old, around the local community.

Gordon was full of praise, saying: “We have been in contact with the Foundation in terms of donating and sponsorship of events, which we’re more than willing to do.

“The Foundation are out there actively helping not just the younger generation, but also the older generation.

“I think as a club, it builds a future for the club because they’re involved in the younger generation.

“They go out and help local people and want to involve them within in the club, and I think it’s really important.”

The Business Club is the perfect way to make new connections as well as be able to give back to their communities.

“Every quarter we have the Breakfast Club meeting and it’s good to see lots of different businesses come and network,” he said.

“You meet the different businesses, get some good contacts to do business with and you also takeaway a lot from the speakers.

“There is lots of different proactive stuff to go and build your own business from what people have done themselves.”
