Cavalier Centre
Riding: Ranging from “pure fun” through to international dressage, Cavalier Centre RDA provides the ideal combination of enjoyment and fulfilment that comes from being on a horse or a pony. Lessons are in groups of no more than six riders, with expert coaches, enabling people to progress and develop their skills. All horses have a maximum weight carrying limit, currently our top weight limit is 13 stone. Vaulting: Equestrian vaulting is often described as gymnastics on horseback. The horse is controlled by a lunger and in a 15-metre circle, while the vaulter performs exercises on the horse’s back using specialist equipment. Vaulting is a fantastic physical activity that helps with concentration and focus as well as balance and control. Vaulting training sessions combine skills such as dance and gymnastics to help to develop confidence, balance and harmony with the horse. Being part of a vaulting group is a lot of fun! Stable management: Mixed yard based activities learning horse care and behaviour, using a mixture of grooming, feeding and cleaning.
Venue: Cavalier Centre, Bradley Farm, Much Wenlock TF13 6PE
Riding: Tuesday 2-5pm, Thursday 2-5pm Friday 2-5pm Sunday 9.30am-12pm
Throughout the year – excluding 2 weeks at Christmas.
