Casual Delivery Coach (YDP)

We’re seeking a Casual Delivery Coach to help us deliver our Youth Development Phase football provision!

As a Casual Delivery Coach you will help us coach and mentor young players in our Youth Development Phase teams in either Shrewsbury or Ludlow to inspire and develop their skills as a player and as part of a team. Our YDP programme is essential in providing a platform and progression route for players pursuing football, and we’re looking for a passionate and inspiring individual to motivate players to showcase their talent by delivering a syllabus to players which aligns with the Shrewsbury Town Academy’s coaching programme.

You will be expected to:

• Coach and mentor age groups within the Midland Junior Premier League (MJPL) – U9’s to U18’s
• Deliver our Youth Development Phase programme alongside the coaching team
• Represent Shrewsbury Town Foundation and promote a positive brand image.
• Be a positive role model to young people.
• Uphold our values to engage, develop and inspire the local community.

Essential requirements:

• UEFA C coaching qualification
• FA Safeguarding
• FA Emergency First Aid

Desirable requirements:

• Previous experience in Grassroots/Academy Coaching
