We’re back with another week of match reports from our Community teams from the past seven days! Find out how they got on below!

Shadow Squad – U13s

Shrewsbury Town 1 – 1 Leicester Road Juniors

A tight and scrappy game resulted in a fair draw for Salop at home. Neither team could really get a hold of the game. Stand out players were Haydn Weale, Sam Tomlinson and Theo Ezea.

Shadow Squad – U14s

Atherstone Rangers 3 – 0 Shrewsbury Town

It was a bad result for Town playing away with only 11 players and soon became 10 only 5 minutes into the game. Poor conditions and performances led to a disappointing result.

Shadow Squad – U15s

Shrewsbury Town 1 – 4 Billbrook Juniors

The scoreline reflects a little harshly for Salop in this encounter. However Billbrook were certainly the better team, out-muscling and out-working Town throughout. There was very little created by Shrewsbury but Sam Pryce and Harry Pitman proved the most effective players.

BTEC Elite Team

Macclesfield Town 9 – 0 Shrewsbury Town

It was a bitterly disappointing result for Salop, however they were playing against a much better team. After going in at half-time with the score at 1-0, the second half saw Shrewsbury struggle to get out of their own half with chances being hard to come by. Stand out performances came from Dan Parker, Kai Bray, and Finn Greenhouse
