After the success of 2018’s Pedal2Pool and 2019’s Bike2Barnsley we will be cycling the 140 miles to the Weston Homes Stadium in our 2020 challenge, Pedal2Peterborough.
The two-day event will see participants leaving Montgomery Waters Meadow on Friday 17th April, with an overnight stay just over the half-way distance. Before tackling the remaining miles on Saturday 18th April, to arrive at the Weston Homes Stadium in time to watch Shrewsbury Town F.C. take on Peterborough United F.C. for their penultimate away fixture of the season.
All funds raised from the event will be going directly back into Shrewsbury Town in the Community to help run our projects across Shropshire including our disability sports provision, active ageing sessions and cancer rehabilitation programme.
As always, we will be teaming up with Trek Shrewsbury to plan the route, offer support in preparation for the event, and offer our participants;
