A huge well done to our Foundation staff for raising an incredible £1,332.63 for their chosen charities by taking part in the London Landmarks Half Marathon!
On 6th April, Shrewsbury Town Foundation staff members Alex Burrows (Marketing & Communications Coordinator), Charlotte Monk (Community Coach), and Dave Mitchell (Community Coach) completed the London Landmarks Half Marathon, raising money for Parkinson’s UK, NSPCC and Dementia UK. Each of them did an incredible job, and we’re so proud of their dedication and commitment!
The charities supported by the team each hold a personal connection for the runners — and also align closely with the Foundation’s own work. Through our social groups, hubs and education provision, we see first-hand the incredible impact these charities have on people in our community.
And the fundraising isn’t over yet! Joe Green (Education Delivery Officer) will be taking on the London Marathon on 27th April fundraising for Mercy Ships. You can still help him reach his target by donating here:
