You have smashed it!

Thanks to your efforts, in just 2 weeks we have reached our target goal of 2,788 miles – the same distance as travelling to all EFL League One grounds from Montgomery Waters Meadow!

So now we have a new challenge for you. In the remaining two weeks we want to cover the distance from Montgomery Waters Meadow to the Kirani James Stadium in Grenada. Salopians will know that in the last few months an unlikely bond has formed between Shrewsbury Town and Grenada as several Town stars such as Omar Beckles, Aaron Pierre, and Ollie Norburn have represented the country which later led to former captain of the Grenadian national team, and current President of the country, Cheney Joseph, visiting Montgomery Waters Meadow in January as Shrewsbury took on Liverpool in the FA Cup.

We need everyone to step up, as this new goal will mean that we need to cover 4,277 miles, but after the amazing effort in the first weeks, we know you can do it!

We hope this new challenge will give you something extra to aim for! So far we’ve raised over £500, but we think we can do much better still, and help raise money for 4 different local organisations who have been impacted by the current crises, including Hope House, Little Rascals, and SAHA FC.

You can help us by donating and joining our running/cycling group

Don’t forget to send in your photos and make sure to challenge your friends too and help us reach our new goal!
