Mark Bull initially became involved in Shrewsbury Town in the Community initially through working with coaches whilst studying at Ludlow College. Following this he enrolled on our Foundation Degree scheme in August 2017 and has used this as an opportunity to also get involved in a number of other projects. Along with completion of his FA Level 2 coaching award, Mark has helped deliver on soccer schools, within the Advanced Development Centre, ShrewsAbility, and on Kick Cancer sessions.

In addition to all of this Mark took part in the NCS trip to Ghana in October 2018,  took up the challenge of cycling to Blackpool in our Pedal2Pool event, and is now a member of staff at Shrewsbury Town in the Community.

“The degree programme appealed to me because of the impact I could make in the local community. Since joining in 2017 I have had some fantastic opportunities which I am very grateful for. The support from my mentors here has been fantastic and they have helped me improve my confidence, communication and motivation to succeed. The degree programme at Shrewsbury Town in the Community has allowed me to realise my potential and achieve my goals.”  – Mark Bull – Shrewsbury Town in the Community Staff Member
