Among many others, JTDS Architecture are a company who have benefitted from the many perks available through the Shrewsbury Town Business Club.

JTDS Architecture are a Shropshire-based architectural practice who specialise in bringing innovation and precision to every project.

Director Jose Tweedie spoke about how they got involved with the Business Club through Shrewsbury Town’s Commercial Sales Manager, Steve Maden.

He said: “I came and saw Steve, around the start of the year and he walked me around the ground.

“I’ve come to Shrewsbury many times over the years to watch games so it is somewhere that I’ve always sort of had an affinity towards.

“The conversation developed from there to where I am now.

“A big thing for me coming in and starting my own business is that platform to get noticed, to be seen – that’s one of the main drives for me in the local area.”

The Business Club promotes networking between local companies in and around Shropshire and provides an ideal way to give back to the community.

Jose believes that the Business Club allows people to cultivate meaningful ‘relationships’ through face-to-face contact.

“It’s very important, he stated. “We’re very much living in an age now where there is a lot of communication on Microsoft Teams and Zoom.

“So, to be able to have face-to-face interaction, I find you get more of a response out of people.

You get to build up a rapport with people and it does help drive opportunities within the county and further afield.”

Shrewsbury Town Foundation are very happy to continue providing support to the Shrewsbury Town Business Club as it continues to grow and thrive.

Jose was full of praise for the Foundation and thinks the work in the community is vital to the county of Shropshire.

“I think it’s very important. I think community is a big thing. So, I think having a Foundation is great” he said.

“I think for me it was one of the reasons I wanted to come in because I’m very involved in community projects and people where I can.

“Having community initiatives, engagement and platforms, I think is really important, especially for Shrewsbury and Shropshire.”
