We are delighted to confirm the date for the Girls Community Cup as Sunday 11th July 2021.

On 11th July 2021 we are hosting our first Girls Community Cup at Shrewsbury Town in the Community. Open to all grassroots football teams in the relevant age groups, our Community Cup will be a celebration of girls football and will allow these shining stars to showcase their talent this Summer.

The Girls Community Cup will take place across our new 3G pitch, and the 3G pitches at the Mercedes Benz Football Hub.

Our Education and Learning Co-Ordinator, Alex Jones added:
“We are really excited to be running our first grassroots tournament for female footballers in Shropshire. With what has been a stop-start season for girls football across the country, we are delighted that we can offer local grassroots teams a chance to showcase their skills at our facilities. We expect places to go very quickly, so get in touch! “

The Girls Community Cup is open to all grassroots football teams in the relevant age groups (U8s-U11s) to enter, with a £30 fee per team. With just 8 spaces in each category, be sure to book your space today!
