Shrewsbury Town Foundation are seeking highly motivated individuals to fulfil the roles of Youth Employability Mentors which forms part of a national agenda of Youth Employability Hubs across the United Kingdom.

Role specification:

· Work with the Department for Work & Pensions and Jobcentres to engage young people 16-24 in our Youth Employability Hub.
· Design and deliver a curriculum for our Youth Employability Hub experience package such as mental health, fitness, life skills and employability skills.
· Monitor and evaluate the impact of the provision on participants.
· Support young people with complex needs and be inclusive in our approach to support young people into employment, education & training.
· Be target driven and proactive in achieving outcomes and be open to new ways of working to meet the needs of young people across the county.

You will have:

· Experience of creating new programmes and developing current programmes.
· Excellent organisational skills and the ability to coordinate a varied workload.
· Experience of working in youth engagement employability type programmes.
