To celebrate Volunteers’ Week 2026, Shrewsbury Town Foundation are putting the spotlight on some of our brilliant volunteers.

Eris Chattington-Lowe began with the Youth Employability Hub last year after being referred by the Jobcentre.

She showed drive and determination to improve several skills, including confidence and networking with professionals.

Following her time with the Youth Hub, Eris began to volunteer with the Foundation’s media team.

Her passion for photography and videography, which was cultivated from a young age, has been put on display in some of the happenings at the Croud Meadow.

Eris has captured many photos and videos at multiple events such as the Play on the Pitch sessions, as well as home matchdays.

Alongside this, Eris has also provided a helping hand to the Health and Wellbeing team.

She has supplied support to some of the group session, such as the Dementia and Veterans’ Hubs – offering help to those in need of extra support.

Eris said: “Being involved with Shrewsbury Town Foundation has given me opportunities that I may not otherwise have had.”

“I am grateful for the prospects, guidance, and support that the Foundation has provided throughout my journey.”

Our volunteers show passion and dedication for their craft, exemplifying Shrewsbury Town Foundation’s standards and values in the process.
